Aprendiz das Plantas / Herbal Apprentice

O mundo vegetal fascina-me. Observar as plantas dos campos e caminhos e conhecê-las pelos nomes é um sonho meu de infância. Com a minha avó aprendi o nome de algumas delas bem como algumas das suas utilidades. Mas só na idade adulta mais particularmente nos últimos anos me tenho podido debruçar mais sobre o assunto. Adoro as histórias, os nomes, as propriedades medicinais, bem como as suas diversas utilidades. O mundo vegetal é generoso e resiliente. Existe tanto para aprender que a sensação é que vinte vidas não chegariam para abarcar todo o conhecimento vegetal disponível e a que ainda está por descobrir.
Aqui no espaço do blog irei registando algumas das minhas aprendizagens sobre o reino vegetal. Terei todo o gosto em ter-vos por aí para aprendermos juntos.
Aprendiz das plantas é como me sinto, eterna aprendiz.

The plant world fascinates me. Watching the plants of the fields and paths and knowing their name by heart is a childhood dream of mine. With my grandmother I learned some of them as well as some of their uses. But only in adulthood, more particularly in recent years, have I been able to focus more on this subject. I love the stories, the names, the medicinal properties, as well as its several uses. The plant world is generous and resilient. There is so much to learn that the feeling is that twenty lives would not be enough  to learn all available plant knowledge.

Here at the blog I will register some of my learnings about the plant kingdom. I will be happy to have you out there so we can learn together.
